On September 17, 2024, the CDHS Art Club had their opening meeting. The head teacher of the club, Ms Smiley, prepared a lesson about felting, an art technique that uses textiles to produce an image usually on a piece of construction paper. The artists used several different colors to make fabulous, and beautiful pieces of art that showed different animals, people, and elements of life.

Ms. Smiley graduated from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. She has been teaching for 7 years.

The CDHS Art Club meets every Tuesday from 3:00-4:00 pm in Ms. Smiley’s room.  To join, get a permission slip from Ms. Smiley.  It is free to join.
