Every year, CDHS hosts an annual tea party for the homecoming court selected by each class of the students here at school. The tea party itself is hosted by Mrs. Beets and the rest of the homecoming committee. It is a super fun day for the homecoming court to not only get together and bond as a whole, but also to celebrate their special spot on the homecoming court over a meal, and of course tea.
Each member of the senior homecoming court was interviewed and were just asked simple questions about the tea party as shown in the video above. The seniors are a super important piece of the court due to the fact that they are a role model and a huge source of maturity to the classes of students below them. Though it is their last year, they still want to have fun, and we love our seniors so much here at school.

Speaking of the seniors, here is a picture of them above; from left to right: Cora Hawkins, Harlee Richardson, Kennedy Brown, Molly Barricks, Madelyn Jennings, Maura Phillips, and Layla Fox. One of them will be our next homecoming queen! Fun fact about the seniors, there was a tie in the votes this year, and they actually have one more member than usual on the court. We are also so proud of our senior class president for not only running the senior class along with many more things, but also making it on the homecoming court.
Ms. P and Charlie Taylor also took some wonderful pictures at the tea party. These pictures really show how much fun the girls on homecoming court were having at the tea party. They all enjoyed the food and the experience as a whole. This really helped all the girls bond with each other and get to know each other more.

There was a wide assortment of different finger foods provided at the tea party. There was anything from meats and cheeses to brownies and cookies. Different types of fruits were provided as well. As for beverages there was hot tea, water, and lemonade. Each member of the court enjoyed talking about homecoming over a well prepared meal. They enjoyed this experience very much.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience; there was a delay in producing this vlog due to the amount of flooding in the area and school outages. We are still going to host homecoming, the events, and powderpuff. A huge thanks to Mrs. Beets for hosting the tea party and also a big thank you to Ms. P and Charlie for taking the photos.
