This year, the Chuckey-Doak FFA Chapter proudly took 19 students to the National FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana, held from October 23 to October 26. These students had the opportunity to participate in workshops, sessions, and various other activities designed to help them develop essential leadership skills. Each workshop was crafted to impact FFA students in unique and meaningful ways.
Our students also attended the convention sessions, where they experienced inspiring presentations of awards, retiring addresses, influential guest speakers, and valuable life lessons. Additionally, they had the chance to explore the vibrant city of Indianapolis.

Notably, our Chapter Secretary, Sapana Das, was selected as one of the national delegates representing Tennessee. Sapana collaborated with delegates from across the country to provide recommendations to the Board of Directors. We are incredibly proud of her dedication and hard work. Furthermore, one of our members, Harlie Harris, represented our chapter in the National Choir at Indianapolis, where she sang her heart out. This marked her second and final time performing with the National Choir, and we are extremely proud of her achievements and representation of the Chuckey-Doak FFA.
We also celebrated the achievements of our four American Degree recipients: Angel Bermudez, Brantley Campbell, Harley Davidson, and Kaytie Hoxie. Earning this prestigious honor, which is achieved by less than 1 percent of FFA members, is a testament to their hard work and dedication. Overall, our members thoroughly enjoyed all the activities they participated in. These experiences not only helped them grow as better individuals but also as dedicated FFA members.
We are excited to see their future endeavors and the impact they will continue to make. Until next time, Tennessee FFA!
