On Monday, December 9th, the Chuckey-Doak High School first semester theatre class performed Junie B. Jones: Jingle Bells, Batman Smells for students from Chuckey and Doak Elementary. The students were in both first and second grades, and they had an enjoyable time watching the play. They laughed and giggled throughout the whole play, which means our Black Knight Players were really putting on the show.

In the holiday spirit, the Charger’s staff asked the kids some Christmas-related questions before the show.

The next day, on Tuesday, December 10th, the theatre class performed for the community. Around 100 people came to watch the play and cheer on their Black Knight Players.

Congratulations to the theatre class on their performance! We hope that you will continue to perform at your best on the stage; your performance really resonated with the people in the community as well as the children who loved the play.  This was such an engaging experience for the kids during the Christmas Season.

Special thanks to Mrs. Allen, the Black Knight Players, and all of our children and teachers from Chuckey and Doak Elementary Schools!
