Soccer Season is Upcoming!

Soccer season is just around the corner for Chuckey Doak High School! Soccer is a team sport played by a team of 11 players against another team of 11 players on a field. They compete against each other to make a goal in the opposing team’s net. Last year our former coach, Cory Braithwaite, stepped down from his position. Thankfully someone stepped up to take his place to make our team the best it can be. Our new head coach for this year soccer season is Steven Neesen, we are so glad to have someone step up and guide our boys!! We are so ready to see what this season has in store for Chuckey Doak High School! 

Let’s introduce our new head coach with an interview Dominique Atchison put together for us!

During the interview, Coach Neesen stated that he started teaching at the YMCA and has taught travel teams. He also affirmed that he has taught multiple students at Chuckey Doak Middle School! We are so appreciative of him and his decision to make our soccer team the best it can be. Molly Barricks and Elijah Barker interviewed some of our Chuckey Doak soccer players to get their opinions on how they think the season is going to go. The boys have a positive outlook on their team and the season this year. 

We are so excited to see our boys play this year! Good luck to each and every one of them, GO BLACK KNIGHTS!
