Chuckey-Doak FFA Secretary Sapana Das Wins Eastern Region Agricultural Communications Proficiency Award

Sapana Das, is a dedicated member of the Chuckey-Doak FFA Chapter, has been recognized with the Eastern Region Agricultural Communications Proficiency Award for outstanding work in media, journalism, and public relations within the agricultural industry.

Through my Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE), I have written articles, managed social media, and produced engaging content to promote agricultural literacy. As the Field Reporter for Chuckey-Doak High School and the FFA Chapter Secretary, I have been instrumental in highlighting the chapter’s achievements and spreading awareness about agricultural education. Whether through writing feature stories on local farmers, covering FFA events, or creating engaging social media content, their work has made a lasting impact. Agriculture is more than just farming—it’s an entire industry that feeds and fuels the world. Being able to share the stories of farmers, ag businesses, and innovations in the field is something I’m truly passionate about.
Winning this award is an honor and privilege. It’s proof that storytelling and communication are vital to the agricultural industry, and I hope to continue making a difference through my work. Looking ahead, I plan to pursue a career in agricultural communications, continuing to bridge the gap between producers and consumers.  For more information on the FFA Proficiency Award and to follow my journey, visit me on Instagram at agvocate_with_sapana.
