Happy late Easter from Chuckey-Doak High School! Everyone knows that Easter is about the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. Everyone gets together with their families to celebrate this special holiday for Jesus, who died for our sins. Families celebrate in different ways. Chase Murray, one of our Ag teachers, preached about Jesus on Easter day.

Children all around the world love celebrating Easter because they tend to get Easter baskets with little gifts and candy. Take a second to think about what you get for Easter, and the reason we celebrate the holiday to begin with. There is always a deeper meaning to holidays and some people don’t know them.

We interviewed some of our students about their Easter Sunday this year and this is what they said: Anthony Johnson, Dom Hahnlen, and Panayiotis Psahos all filled eggs for kids for an Easter egg hunt. Billy Hahnlen practiced his kicking skills for football. Kolby Shannon went to church and then went home, and Xiomara Vides went to church with her family. Easter is a great time to spend time with the people you love!

Happy Easter from the Black Knight family!
