Chuckey-Doak Introduces New Class Officers

On Wednesday, August 27th, Chuckey-Doak High School held its annual Class Officer voting. Class Officers form the student government and help make decisions regarding Homecoming, as well as what students want and need in the school. The positions for the Officers consist of: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Historian, and Representative. The underclassmen have every role except Historian, while the upperclassmen possess all the roles. 

Each class President is the person in charge of the class. They help organize events, support teachers who need help, and get the wants and needs of the student body involved. The Vice-President assists the President with their decisions and assumes the role if the President is absent. The Secretary attends meetings, takes attendance, and assists the President when needed. The Historian works with the media, assists in clothing design, and attends meetings. Last but not least, the Representatives are responsible for being a voice for the students and helping with student-organized functions.

The Freshman Class President is Izzy Gosnell, Vice-President Kori Hollifield, Secretary Khloe Knight, and Class Representatives America Flores, Braxton Lowe, and Kaylee Nelson. 

The Sophomore Class President is Connor Hall, Vice-President Gage Pomroff, Secretary Emily Swecker, and Class Representatives Alyssa Jennings, Sofia Ramirez, and Skylar Thompson.

The Junior Class President is Xiomara Vides, Vice-President Brayden Greene, Secretary Betsie Ramirez, Historian Kolby Shannon, and Class Representatives Harper Hollifield, Calleigh Landen, and Korbin Shiner.

The Senior Class President is Sapana Das, Vice-President Neveah Jenkins, Secretary Addy Bradley, Historian Ethan Swecker, and Class Representatives Miguel Benitez, Jesus Rojas, and Madison Shelton.
