Although we don’t get to hear about them much, the fishing team here at Chuckey-Doak High School is pertinent to the students and our school as a whole! The team is currently doing really good and is in 33rd place out of around 200 boats! There are two total boats on the water for Chuckey Doak. One is senior Noah Mentz and his brother, Logan, who are in 34th place. The other boat is Brodie Gibson and his brother, Kolby Gibson. These two are in 33rd place, and here they are now to be interviewed by vloggers Shianne Painter and Jesus Rojas.

As you can see, these two brothers are very impressive athletes when it comes to fishing. They have competed in many trials and work hard all year through both the fall and spring semesters.

Fishing is definitely harder than it looks, but it can also be fun for people such as our fishing team. The competitiveness is super driving, as well as the points system they have to come up to par with. Fishing is worth hearing about here at school, and they are absolutely excelling this season out there on their boats!
