CDHS Wrestling: What’s New?

 Wrestling is a huge sport this year at Chucky-Doak High School. Although it’s just now starting, there’s already a huge improvement from previous years, with new athletes and a bigger team for the 2025-2026 wrestling season. 

 The team currently has three – one on-season wins against West Greene, Claiborne, and Boone. Coming up, they have the Indian classic, which is held at Daniel Boone High School.

 The team is practicing hard this season while proudly wearing their new uniforms. Here are two of the athletes, Kinley Knight and Marcus Britt, to talk about the season and what it entails so far! 

Most people don’t realize how hard wrestling actually is. You have to maintain your weight while following a good diet, stay strong, and improve your skills throughout the season. Although this is a difficult task, the team is ready to conquer this season, and we are extremely excited to see how far they go! Stay tuned for the wrestling season, and go Black Knights!
