This season, the Lady Black Knights Soccer Team has taken the field with determination, teamwork, and confidence. Through preparation, practices, scrimmages, and games, the players are fighting for a successful season. With strong leadership from experienced seniors and a coach with nearly 300 wins, and determined and driven underclassmen, the CDHS Girls Soccer team will make its mark throughout the 2026 season.

Experienced seniors and coaches lead the Girls Soccer Team. Seniors include Betsie Ramirez, Lindsey Rojas, Kennah Marshall, and Remi Holter. These girls shine on the field, especially through their dedication and leadership on and off the field. The team is combined with Chuckey-Doak, homeschooled, and South Greene High School students. The Black Knights are led by Head Coach Anna Ricker and assistant coaches Lester Ricker and Lexi Hensley. Anna Ricker nears 300 wins this season and is expected to hit this remarkable milestone this upcoming week against Cumberland Gap High School.

So far, the Chuckey-Doak Lady Black Knights team has had a groundbreaking season, winning eight out of twelve games, one of those being a tie. Their games are full of excitement and energy.  The team’s success can be attributed to their strong offensive and defensive strategies. Sophomore Caitlin Larsen is typically instrumental in scoring crucial goals. Each player exhibits exceptional ball control, accuracy, and teamwork that contribute to their season stats. The girls’ first win was against the East Robertson Varsity when they held a 9-1 win over the Indians. Following wins were Stone Memorial (2-0), Pigeon Forge (3-2), Lakeway Christian Academy (5-1), Gatlinburg Pittman (2-1), Grainger (4-0), Sullivan East (3-1), and Unicoi County (3-0). Chuckey-Doak will host Cumberland Gap on Tuesday, September 29th, in hopes of taking down the Panthers. Following that, they will host University High on October 6th and Jefferson City High School on the 8th for Senior Night.

Overall, the Lady Knights are looking strong and flourishing over the 2026 Soccer Season. Their previous wins, with their impeccable determination and leadership, fuel them into the last 4 games, where they are expected to be more successful in wins. We wish them luck throughout the rest of the season and congratulate Coach Anna Ricker on her soon-to-be 300 wins. Go Black Knights!schools, and continuing to improve throughout the year. As the season moves toward the postseason, the Black Knights will have more chances to test themselves and see how far their hard work can take them.
